Hindu Activist Srikanth Poojari likely to be released today: Advocate Ashok Anvekar

Hubballi: Hindu activist Srikanth Poojari, who was recently arrested by the Town Police in connection with a violence case reported in 1992 during the Ayodhya Rama Janmabhoomi protest, is likely to be released from prison this afternoon, according to Advocate Ashok Anvekar.

Anvekar stated that the court has approved the applications filed by the sureties, DK Chavan and Amit Habib, who have agreed to provide surety for Srikanth. After reviewing the records, the court has issued an order for the release of the accused from prison in this case. Anvekar added that, following the completion of all the necessary processes, there is a possibility of Srikanth being released from jail today.
